Kids Toys delivers orders across New Zealand. We use New Zealand Post and various courier companies. Shipping costs for orders are determined by the size and weight of the items together with your location. The shipping costs for your items are calculated in your shopping cart and will be added to your order total before you checkout. During our non-peak period, your order will typically be dispatched within 2-3 business days. However, during our peak period which commences in October and ends on 31 December each year, your parcel may take up to one week to despatch. If Kids Toys experiences a delay in locating your ordered item, which will also delay the despatch of your order, Kids Toys may cancel the item from your order and refund the value.
Shipping times are estimated at between 3-10 business days – dependent upon your location in New Zealand. Delivery may take longer during our peak period or if our transport partners are experiencing delays. In the event of a significant shipping error or total calculating error, Kids Toys will contact you and confirm the correct charges or if you prefer, will cancel your order and issue you with a refund.
New Zealand Post eParcel Service
New Zealand Post eParcel service delivers parcels across New Zealand to either a physical address or to a Post Office Box. Delivery of your parcel will require a signature. If delivery cannot be made to the nominated address, as per New Zealand Post policy, your parcel will be returned to an New Zealand Post Office or other depot for collection. If you choose to change your delivery to the New Zealand Post “safe drop” option, Kids Toys takes no responsibility for lost or stolen parcels.
Express Post
Kids Toys offers Express Post as a shipping option, but this is not an overnight service and may take 2-3 business days to despatch or longer in our peak period. Kids Toys treats Express Post parcels as a priority and will always aim to have your parcel despatched earlier whenever possible.
Larger Items & Ticket Prices
Please be mindful the if your delivery is being sent to a person – other than yourself – that some larger items may be sent to you in the original carton which may have a picture or describe the item contained within the carton. Some items may also have a retail price ticket attached to the item, as it may have been sourced for despatch, via one of our many stores.
