Kids Toys Returns Policy 


If you wish to return your item, because you have changed your mind or you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 15 days to return your item, provided that:

•    You produce the original Kids Toys register receipt that was issued at the time of purchase;
•    Your item is unopened, unused and in its original condition including all instruction manuals and all accessories in place;  
•    Your item was not purchased in multiple or commercial quantities;
•    Your item was not a special order.


If you meet the above criteria, Kids Toys will offer you one of the following:
 
•    an exchange OR  
•    a refund OR  
•    an instore credit

Online Returns for Change of mind or Satisfaction Guarantee returns will need to be returned to Kids Toys Online at the customer's expense. When received by Kids Toys, the price of the item will be refunded. Please note that postage expenses will not be refunded.
Note:  Change of Mind and Satisfaction Guarantee returns, exclude purchases made by Gift Cards and Trading Cards.


Faulty Product Returns


Each of our products comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under New Zealand Consumer Law. Our customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure of the purchase and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. 


Our customers are entitled to have their purchased goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


Where a major failure is identified, Kids Toys is entitled to choose between providing our customer with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy.
Kids Toys may elect to return the product to the manufacturer's repair agent to determine the nature of the problem.


Kids Toys reserves the right to not offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Online Purchase Returns


The Kids Toys Returns Policy also applies to online purchases.

A copy of the tax invoice provided from our website at the time of purchase will be required. Note: the email confirmation is not the tax invoice.

If you prefer to return your purchase directly to one of our stores, please call the Kids Toys Online Store on 1800 KIDS TOYS to make sure your order can be returned to a particular store.

If you have confirmation that your online purchase can be returned to a store, simply provide our friendly staff at the store with a copy of the tax invoice that was emailed to you.  The tax invoice contains the invoice number which will be needed to manage your return.
